I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Cornell University, sponsored by the Brooks School of Public Policy. My research focuses on non-financial barriers to accessing health care with projects spanning three primary topics: (1) The impact of urgent care centers on healthcare access, spending, and patient health among patients with different healthcare needs; (2) local labor market and public health impacts of expanding the nurse practitioner labor supply; and (3) barriers to prescription adherence for oral contraceptives.

Prior to attending Cornell, I spent two years at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors as a member of the team designing and studying the Survey of Consumer Finances. While there, my research focused on measuring the liquid savings of US families and the ability of those families to weather adverse financial shocks.
